I thought it was an excellent movie. The Star Trek movies of late were lacking in action this one does not. My only problem is with the die hard morons who call themselves Trekies. Would they rather watch old episodes of the original forever or accept minor changes in the storyline. I have watched every episode of all the Trek franchises many times from day one. I am grateful that the powers that be make these films and tv programs. Trekies GIVE YOUR HEAD A SHAKE.

I never tough that they could make such a success and also been able, if they wish, to restart the whole series with one and in one movie. The audience was hypnotized from minute one. You could ear people holding their breath at times, smile and laugh. They where feeling like getting back into their own story with old friends. Somewhat like home. The new actors made it like if they all where there at the beginning.A tremendous team work and they should continue because this type of seri because of the good values it carries for the following young generations. Bravo!

THE best Star Trek movie yet. J.J. Abrams has truly honored the legacy of all the original crew members of the one and only Starship Enterprise. Live long and prosper J.J. Abrams. You sir have a new fan to your genius and artistic insight.

Entertaining movie. The directing was very good--its fast paced(even my wife wasnt bored). The acting was very good--Especially "Mccoy aka Bones". I couldnt get over how much like the original he was. The problem was this movie is the stupid story. Romulus's star goes supernova--and the bad blames Spock for not stopping it...a SUPERNOVA!!...yeah, that makes a lot of sense!! Otherwise a decent movie considering the storyline. (mimolor)

5/5. A Masterpiece on all levels. Story, Action, Effect, Humour, Terror... off the scale. If you are a Trekkie - you will love it. If you are not - you will love it. It is that good. A fantasic movie from start to finish. Pacing will leave you breathless. Effects that will leave you wanting to see it again and again. A story worthy of Star Trek and SI-FI alike and every great movie before it...
