  Amazing movie, I went thinking how can they top origanal movie They Did. My only concern is was not Spocks mother alive in TV and other Star trek movies?

  If Saturday Night Live made a Star Trek parody, and were given an unlimited budget to do a parody of special effects at the same time... this is what they would produce. This movie will become a negative example in every university film course and attract a cult following a la "Eraserhead".

  If you don't know anything about Star Trek, it is just a bad movie with pointless action sequences and overwrought special effects. If you know anything about Star Trek, it is a travesty.

  Star Trek was AMAZING. The first ten minutes made me slide down in my seat while I attempt to not cry during the first 10 minutes! I've never had that experience before... The acting was great. The action was wonderful. The movie was even funny in parts. It's so good to see Star Trek being reborn through J.J. Abrams eyes (I love LOST). Now I have no worries over what he will do with my favorite book series (Dark Tower) when it's finished.

  the story was stupid , but the action was great. All in all star trek is for nerds.

  This movie was the dumbest thing i had EVER seen. It didn't make sense right from the begining. Was a waste of time and money. -N.A. :@

  Amazing! It will leave you at the edge of your seat! Spectacular and mind blowing. It has action, drama, and a bit of comedy. Definately a must see!
