  I liked the first star trek.This one is just as good. and I like the way it can go in a different way. But still have all the people we love from the first star trek.it's nice to see the human side of spock.

  Great overall movie to watch, and im sorry to the hardcore fans who say this is crap but its not. Just cuz the movie doesnt match the full storyline (because of the whole parallel universe thing big deal, very few movies do and they are all turn out great. I am more than familiar with star trek and watching this movie did not make me think twice the series in a negative way at all. so dont rate this as a 1 just cuz it doesnt suit YOUR preference of what Star Trek should be.

  I will admit, I had my doubts as to whether the movie was going to be good. The last few trek movies were more of a cash grab then a tribute to what Star Trek was all about. This movie is excellent! Bringing in a whole new cast made it fresh, the story line was more to what the Roddenberry's vision was all about. They did an excellent job. A few loose ends were never tied up, but they were insignificant. Overall...best Trek movie yet in the humble opinion of a long time Trek fan. Keep this crew, make more, and prosper!
