  Awesome movie! They stayed true to the original while making it a great film for fans and non-fans alike. Friends who hate Star Trek saw and loved the movie. Great flick. Can't wait for a sequel.

  I never liked star trek, but after reading all these positive reviews, I had to see it and WOW. The music is good bump inducing and I loved the special effects and Pike.

  Fantastic movie!! Should have been a 5 star but the ridiculous over use of lens flare during filming made it look like poor cinemetography instead of an attempt at an artistic effect. Otherwise outstanding!!

  This was by far the most amazing movie i have seen in a really long time. And Spock and Scottie are very very good looking if i do say so myself

  Excellent! As a previous trekkie I was hesitant but I took someone else's word for it and found it to be exciting, refreshing, great selection of characters and action-paced. A job well done by all. Thanks to JJ Abrams.
