  Fantastic movie. Great twists. Was really looking forward to seeing it and was not disappointed with the results. Hope they make some more.

  Kirk is made out to be a reckless crook without feelings of responsibiltiy to those close to him when he is young. I thought this was way off the mark. Love is not drawn to him, he works it with callous contempt to people. Kind of hugh? Then it is serious melodrama. Laugh. But I've seen them all and this is the best Star Trek movie. Makes you want to go see the next one and I hope there is another that takes off from this. I will line up to see it.

  Excellent movie.I've never been a huge star trek fan, but this movie got me interested in the mythos.George Lucas should take notes off of this movie on how a real sci fi movie is made

  I loved it. So, it al ties into the other movies. So, are the older Star Treks in line with the new future this movie created or are they the pre-this Trek history? If you see Star Trek IV the Voyage Home, you see Vulcan looks darker and baren, like they are still trying to populate the new world that Spoke conveniently found a new suitable location by the end of this movie. That older movie didn't look like it had 6 billion people. I loved that they had that mind altering worm like in Wrath of Khan. I loved that the characters were in line with their future counterparts. Al in all it was great acting and cleaver writing and amazing visuals. I love that we finlly see the explaination of how
