  Lots of fun, great entertainment. JJ Abrams has certainly breathed new life in this old series. Fine new cast, especially Quinto (Spock) and Pegg (Scottie). Nice turn by leonard Nimoy as well. Great effects, some laughs and lots of action. 4 stars.

  I was pleasantly surprised with this latest addition of the Star Trek franchise. I wasn't expecting to have a few laughs, but the movie did deliver.

  I was wondering if they could make this fresh or new or even palatable to Non-Trek fans, and WOW; is it ever!All the promos and clips had my 3 boys wanting to see it from the start, no coaxing from me. All 3 under 14, and all loved it! A bit of fun, great characters they now know, ships, fights, cars, girls, effects, ladies, you name it, this has it all! And ladies out there, I am told the men in this flick are worth watching, costumes or not! I have to see it again in Imax just to get blown away again! Worth every penny, and year waiting for new life to be breathed into the Trek franchise. DO GO See it!!!

  Great movie, characters were easily recognizable. I just wish Spock was less human and more Vulcan otherwise it was great.

  wow! what a opening! Never had a movie make me cry in the first 10 minutes ever! Rest of the movie not quite that intense but very fun. Excellent casting, I can't wait to see more movies with these guys and gals in them.
