This movie was great! It replaced my old favourite movie which was another musical: Grease. This movie shows you what the Phantom has to go through in his life, why he does what he does, and how he deals with the grief he went through. This movie was amazing and the songs were beautifully sang. Gerard Butler plays the Phantom perfectly and has all the characteristics of the Phantom down pat, and he`s HOT! Even though Emmy Rossum was only 18 she looked so mature and she has a beautiful singing voice, DUH! She`s been studying the aspects of Christine since she was five on Broadway! This movie was the best and I love it and I will continue l

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius whose musicals filled with beauty and depth will remain unparalleled for many generations to come. He is the new Shakespeare of musicals and I feel fortunate enough to experience his plays in my lifetime. In my opinion, The Phantom of the Opera movie is his crowning jewel and no doubt a masterpiece. Gerard Butler was an excellent choice for the phantom as was Patrick Wilson for his roll as Raoul, both of whom brought an intense level of emotion and passion to their rolls that consumed the audience and drew them in closer. BRAVO!!!! Thank you for bringing it to the big screen! Noelle in Tampa

The Pantom of the Opera has replaced my most favourite move of all time which was Gone With The Wind. Also saw Dear Frankie which was so great also. Gerard Butler is an acter who gives his all in his performances. This man will sometime in his career get an Oscar regardless of his thick Scottish accent accent. His agent should make sure this guy is always in the media.

I was absolutely devastated. Even now I can`t stop thinking about the fate of the Phantom. I am aware that the project was shear fantasy, but Mr. Butler`s haunting portrayal of the charactor put topics such as love, betrayal, fear and lonliness up for in depth scrutiny. It is obvious I was enraptured by this movie. I did see the play in Chicago and just happened to catch the film on TV. Ever since viewing the movie on TV so many times, I still find new and exciting aspects of the production which only serves to draw me in deeper. I am not a young women and do not regret what has gone before me, but just for a moment, each time I see this

Obsessed with the fantasy. I wanted to tear the phantom out of the screen and tell him it was all going to be alright. Wonderful acting jobs. Gerard Butler is amazing!! He has three women here in Las Vegas who think so...My daughter, grandaughter and myself. Not everyone has the ability to charm 3 generations of women! Good Job Please do more appearances! If you are ever in need of a guide in Las Vegas, feel free to stop by. Theresa B. A.

The movie was really fanstastic and left me with mixed emotions; thrill, symphathy, love. I really love the movie, especially the music; it really captures the emotions that are being portrayed by the characters.
