I have seen the Phantom 4 times in Toronto, till this day it is my favourite story of all time. Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genious, and the music is amazing. The phantom of the opera has let me find my singing voice, I have been singing in a band since the age of 14 and I am now 27 and still going strong. Amazing story and play, and now movie, I would not change a thing...well I would of picked the Phantom at the end but that`s the way the story goes. Thanks, Maggie

I have seen POTO in London, NY, Toronto, and countless other places. I was skeptical going in to the movies to see it. I`m glad to report that it was equally as good on the big screen as anywhere that I have seen on stage. I would personally like to thank Andrew Lloyd Webber and Joel Schumacher for capturing this wonderful love story on film, to be enjoyed over and over again...and I can`t wait for the DVD!!! Go see it! It may not sound like something that you would normally like, but I can almost guarantee you that you`ll walk out of the theater moved.

It is hard to explain the heartbreak and passion it inspires...it reaches for the deepest feelings beautifully and breathtakingly...i`ve been in trancelike state since the day i first saw it...even though i`ve been singing all the songs in my head ALL THE TIME, i`m still enfatuated with the whole thing, thank you ALW,J.S., the cast...especially gerard...it`s no secret every female is crushing on you since this movie!

BEAUTIFUL movie! Loved it better than when it was on stage, which I saw twice. I had to stop myself from singing along. Very seductive. And I was able to understand the story more in this movie version - with the scenes, I could say "Oh, that`s what was happening in the play!" They were able to expand on what they did with the stage version with special effects. I hope it comes out on IMAX!

I REALLY REALLY LOVED THIS MOVIE .. basically i didnt have a favorite movie and this came out and it became my favorite movie because of the camera techniques Joel Schumaker used and who they chose to act in it Gerard Butler did a spectacular job as the phantom , Emmy Rossum was great at Christine and has the voice of an angel i wish i could sing like her, & Patrick Wilson as Raoul he did a splendid job too. I also must comment on Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber`s genius at writing those songs they had so much feeling in them i was in tears by the end of the movie. But over all this movie i think deserves to when an award it was so good i`ve seen it
