  Gerard Butler was the perfect Phantom. He captured the emotion and character perfectly. He was by far my favorite character in the entire movie.

  i have seen the phantom of the opera on stage about ten years ago and enjoyed it very much. saw it three times in toronto. then went to the show this afternoon, december 31 2004,, i enjoyed seeing and listening to Emmy Rossum and Gerard Butler .. this movie will be a classic years to come....

  The movie was probably excellent for those who have not bothered to see the play. Sophisticates, like myself, who`ve seen the play were disappointed by the muted spectacle presented in the film. See the play if you can afford it, you won`t be disappointed!

  I found this movie absolutly amazing!!!! Best movie I have ever seen, the actors and music were wonderful. I recommend everyone to see this fantastic movie!

  This was an awesome movie if you like musicals. Emmy Rossum has a beautiful voice and all of the music was amazing. Definately 5*****!
