I have seen this movie 3 times and before it left theaters, everytime someone said `We should go to the movies,` I would shout `Phantom of the Opera`. I own 3 copies of the soundtrack and as I write this I`m listening to it. My parents went to the play when I was 3 weeks old and bouhgt the soundtrack so I grew up listening to `The Phantom of the Opera` and I couldn`t wait for the movie. Emmy Rosom was born for this role and Patric Wilson is ssssoooooo HOT!!!!!

Phantom of the Opera was completely spellbinding. As soon as it began, my eyes never left the screen. Raoul was amazing, Christine was beautiful and the Phantom rendered me speechless.

I have been completely taken over by the performances in this film. Gerard Butler nails this part and this charachter better than anyone ever could. His acting and overall performance is most exceptional. There was only one other movie in my life that captivated me as this one has and that was "A Star Is Born" with Barbara Striesand and Kris Kristofferson. I have seen this movie 26 times and still cant get enough. I`m going to go broke if this film stays in the main theaters for much longer, but I hope it does and wish much success for Gerard and all the cast of this movie......BRAVO!!!!!!

It would have been way better if they had cut some of the songs shorter but it was still a great movie to watch in the theatre. Watching it at home wouldn`t be the same.

Gerard Butler shows the most amazing emotions that sears deep into the soul of every person that sees him act. His stirring portrayal of the Phantom and his hauntingly, emotional and expressive tenor voice allows everyone to identify with some part of the Phantom. The movie was absolutely amazing.
