This Phantom movie has become my No. 1 favourite movie of all time...I was so touched throughout the entire movie, and I cried and cried again and again every time (so far 7 and I intend to see more). Glad DVD is released today, I will certainly get a copy so I can watch it as many times as I want. Though it will not be the same as watching it on a big screen with surround sound in the cinema. GO GERRY GO!! If you haven`t seen him in DEAR FRANKIE, please do, I guarantee you, you will love the movie as much as I do. Gerry did another amazing job here. He`s such a wonderful actor, so are Emily Mortimor and the little boy.

The Phantom of the Opera movie is a total masterpiece! Besides being a beautiful visual and musical movie, it introduced me to my favorite movie star ever--GERARD BUTLER. What an amazing actor he is and how gorgeous is this man! Joel Schumacher did a wonderful job in his directing and Andrew Lloyd Webber`s music--breathtaking.

I have never seen the Play version of Phantom, and I felt like the movie was wonderful. I have seen it 4 times, going with each family member as they were available. I plan on perchacing the video the day it comes out. Minnie Driver was "the best" She did a tremendous job. We all know she sings incredibly well. I doesnt matter she didnt sing the opera. Loved the Movie better the 2nd and 3rd and 4th times.
