I Have been waiting many years to see this movie probably about the time that Evita came out because there was talk that Antonio Banderas was singing the roll of the Phantom. I saw it today Jan 9-2005 and I was not dissappointed. I was so thrilled that I was brought to tears when I heard the overture. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and I plan to buy it when the Video is released.

This is the reason I go to movies.....in the hopes that someday something this wonderful will happen. I was awed by this movie, literally sitting on the edge of my seat. I will see it again and again and I will be first in line when the DVD is released. I have seen the stage play twice, but this is a totally different experience. Mesmerizing, sumptuous, wonderful...... Thanks, Joel Schulmacher!

Absolutly amazing! There were some things I think they shouldn`t have changed from the stage production but neverthe less a complete masterpiece! I`ve loved it since I was 8 years old when I saw it in Toronto and it was everything I hoped it would be!
