AMAZING!! I still loved the live theater version more, but this comes too close to 2nd to measure. It touched me just as much as the live version, without the feeling live singing gives you. It makes me want to see it live again.

This is a powerful theatre version! Bravo, Bruckheimer!! I can`t believe that Butler isn`t up for `Best Actor`. His performance leaves the audience wondering why Christine chose Raoul. The movie was so compelling, I went out the next day to purchase the book. I completed it withing 6 days, gathered my children together and took them to see it. They`re 16, 14, and 12 - all thoroughly enjoyed it and recommended it to their friends. Now that`s something isn`t it? Three teens who loved a hollywood version of an opera! My daughter wants to see it again and insists on paying the way this time. The set is breathtaking, the performances - stellar.
