  did not read the book before watching the movie, but overall i enjoyed it. the costumes were awesome, the filming was great, and i was glad that it was not as gory and violent as it potentially could have been. i also thought the actors were excellent.

  it was very much like the book... although the story did feel a little rushed at times. would have liked to see gale's character and his close relationship with katniss developed more.

  this is a very well done movie and close to the book. it is also extremely "dark" so steer clear if this is not your thing.
