  The 3D effect definately gives more to the movie. People were actually ducking out of the way at things on the screen. Just wouldn't be the same to watch this movie at home on a plain television.

  Excellent movie, loved it in 3D. Bought it for my home collection. Lots of action and great story

  So visually appealing to watch. The 3D threw me a little bit off at first but once my eyes adjusted to it I couldn't imagine having seen it any other way.

  One of the best movies I have ever watched for it's amazing special effects. Story is not original but who cares when you can enjoy it's visual brilliance. Don't watch it in 2d tho. Worth the extra money to see it in 3d.

  I would give it 5 stars for special effects and only 2 stars for the plot/acting etc. This movie is basically Pocahontas with blue people. The storyline has been done to death. The acting was so so, even by Ms Weaver. Not impressed

  Fabulous movie not only for the eye candy - special effects - but also for the story line. The 3D effects will blow you away and the story really makes you think about the world around you and the balance that's so important to our own echo system and the way we abuse it. Great movie for all ages.

  I really enjoyed the effects of this movie and the story was pretty awesome to! 3D is an amazing world and Avatar brought it to a new place.
