  I think this movie is Oscar worthy for the film as well as Tom Hanks. It is pretty intense and a tad too long at 2 and half hours. Entertaining just the same, I highly recommend seeing this movie.

  Good but not great. I really wanted to feel for the Somalia antagonists; wanted to know more about them. The film almost goes there (a few good attempts), but then pulls back. It would have been more interesting if they had taken the risk. I LOVE a layered antagonist with human qualities! Hanks was Hanks. He knows what he's doing, but he didn't deliver anything more in this film. I never really felt he was in jeopardy so I didn't get the adrenaline rush I expected through the climax. Not bad though.

  Tom Hanks did a excellent acting job. The supporting cast was extremely well done. This all made for a entertainting and exciting movie to watch. Very fine plot that kept you on the edge of your seat. This is a must see movie.

  I thought this movie was very entertaining. Tom Hanks gave a solid performance. The actors portraying the "pirates" were very believable. I would recommend this movie.

  Really an intense film, was impressed with the Somalian men as first time actors. Bery believable.

  So far, it's the best movie that I've seen this year. Tom Hanks really acted well, and the pirates were really bad. It's a perfect movie of the year.
