  Captain Phillips was a great movie! Bring Kleenex for the end of the movie. Tom Hanks should win academy award or at least be nominated. What a great actor!

  Very realistic portrayal of pirate attack on a cargo ship. Film sheds light on how and why poor third world fishermen-turned pirates target their to-be-pillaged ships.

  Intense and compelling throughout! Fascinating to see the pirates' point of view and highlights the value of being able to improvise and think on your feet. Interesting to get a perspective of how big a shipping yard and cargo ship is and what it is like inside one of their lifeboats.

  This movie deserves 4.5 stars as the script and story was executed superbly, the cast selection was stellar with Tom Hanks putting forth my favourite performance to date. Barkhad Abdi the actor who played Muse was seamless and played the role so smart. A film that was gripping and highly thought through. A must see for any Hanks fan.

  Tense and suspenseful, great acting is very convincing and leaves you waiting to see what comes next.
