  Just an awesome performance by Tom Hanks and cast, very,very suspenseful. My fingerprints are still in the arms of the chair which I was sitting. The best movie I have scene all year!

  You could argue that I started to express interest in this movie after I first watched the SOUTH PARK episode "Fatbeard". That wasn't the only reason! Though, I wasn't aware of the whole situation with the Somali pirates until I first watched that episode back in February 2013, I discovered the movie and the true story behind sometime after. Plus, Tom Hanks is back in the game! The flaws I had with the movie were the pirates attempting to hijack the ship twice (as some people like me were wondering "why are they turning around and when will they come back?"), taking a long time to kidnap the captain, and having a hard time understanding their language. Regardless, CAPTAIN PHILLIPS is an edge

  The most intense, riveting, and thrilling film I have seen in a long time; coupled with another fantastic performance by Tom Hanks. The director and star of this film allow you to not only witness post traumatic stress on screen, but also experience it for yourself.

  It was a very realistic movie and also interesting. I would go see it again. Very good acting and a modern day pirate movie.

  My husband and I both loved this movie, Tom Hanks was excellent in his role as were all the actors, first time I have sat through a whole movie in awhile without ducking out for snacks, didn't want to miss a thing
