The notebook is a well adapted peice of cinema. Although following a format already well perceived by movie goers (Titanic for example), it is the casting of relative new comers Ryan Gosling and Rachael McAdams that makes for the most interesting viewing. With insightful performances, divine cinematography and a beautiful soundrack, The Notebook may well be the greatest lovestory thus far of the 21st century
