A beautiful,well written,very unique story.This is why we go to the movies...amazing acting from Pitt and Blanchett.A real shame he did'nt get an oscar nod for this one.

Best movie of the year without a doubt. Period depictions are marvelous. Story line is enchantingly portrayed and exceptionally well executed. Finally, a movie for open minder, mature free thinkers who might want to see a book instead of read it for a bit of a change.
Hard to find fault with even one thing in this 5 star movie. signed.........GWH

Went2C this with my teen daughter didn't have any expectations, I came out extremly impressed! I don't watch movies twice but will go see this movie again! Was worth the time!!!

The first hour was good, but the rest of the movie sucked. The longer it went the worse it got! It is almost three hours long so by the end I was ready to pluck my eyes out!
