Breathtaking .... Due to the length some may wish to wait until DVD release and view at home -- -fortunately we watched the last showing of an evening and there were only 10 other people in the theater --- we could (quietly) move and relax across chairs to take in the BLORY and JOY of this WONDERFUL telling of a tale of life. True beauty, poetry, compelling and triumph of spirit --- just lovely!

This movie belongs in the group with forest gump! Fans of that movie will definitely enjoy this one. It is a wonderful exploration story with a new twist.

Not great entertainment but better than many other movies released this past week. F. Scott Fitzgerald was a brilliant American writer and this film aptly illustrates his prolific use of the metaphor beginning with the timing of the birth of Button, the hurricane coming throughout the movie while the narrator, now an old woman, lies dying in her hospital bed. The acting is superb and there could well be some Oscars here, notably, Best Supporting Actress for Tilda Swinton, in the role of the narrator. Cate Blanchette may well be nominated for her role in this film as well. Brad Pitt is outstanding in the title role as Benjamin Button but he is up against some stiff competition this year
