As a fan of the book series, i can honestly say this movie was terrible. It was so disappointing with it's lack of emotion and passion. The acting was awful and it was difficult to believe that Edward and Bella were even in love. It lacked depth, chemistry, and emotion, everything that is needed in a good love story. The parts when Edward and Bella were alone were long, drawn out, and sad to say just boring! It was a waste of money seeing this movie once.

Even tho I kno books are always better than their movie adaptations, I still went to see Twilight due to the fact that I read the book, and heard almost the same review throughout my friends that have seen it. First off, total chick flick. I think my bf slept through most of the movie, except for the baseball scene and the whole one minute of the fight scene near the end. Given who was casted as the main characters, I believe that no matter which actor/actress was chosen, there would still be mixed emotions about it through the hardcore fans. Basically, Bella and Edward accounted for 95% of the screentime anyways, so it's not like you really see any other actors enough to care or dislike how

I give this movie 1 star. For the inadvertantly funny bits caused by poor acting to support a dismal plot. save your money or better yet go see a good movie like Australia

Horrible. My husband nearly divorced me for making him see the movie with me. Chemistry was off; acting was bad; undelivered on the dangerous vampire feel.

Bitterly disappointed. Lacked depth. Producing, acting, special effects were all amateur efforts.

Awful. They should have spent more time building on the Edward/Bella relationship. It's supposed to be a love story after all. Also, explaining the unique rules of this vampire world would have been appreciated...they didn't seem all that scary or different that all the other teens. Acting and special effects were very poor. Too bad.
