Just finished the book so decided to watch the movie. what a mistake and a huge dissapointment. The acting was brutal, and they really did not do the book any justice. i couldn't put the book down but could have stopped watching the movie after 15 minutes. YUK. such a shame.

Wow what words could I use to properly describe this film...well, I guess the first word that comes to mind is HORRIBLE. This is a movie with mediocre acting, cringe-fully bad special effects (i could practically see the wires) watered down villains who never seemed important to the story except for about 15 minutes near the end, and a (dare I say) plot that really goes nowhere and has no climax. I understand that there’s more of these things to come, but come on a movie must be able to stand on its own at least a little bit and not riddled with loose ends and hints of what’s to come in the next one like werewolves or whatever. But by far the worst thing of all has to be the glittery skin
