well, the books are absolutely amazing!!! but the movie wasn't so great, it was awful compared to the books, but i still have to give it five stars... it's TWILIGHT for goodness sakes!!!!!!!! of course it's five stars! ;)

Amazing! What a great movie! Read the books - it really helps make the movie amazing. Rob and Kristen do an amazing job (and really..who doesn't like Rob!).

On the way to the theatre with my friends, one of them had already seen it and told us not to get our hopes up. And I was kind of glad she told us that because if I had gone into the theatre expecting what I had, I would have been even more dissapointed. But oh well. It was good, but not that great. They deffinately could have done better.

So much potential wasted. Too bad. there were some great (babeball game, his initial reaction to her)moments but not nearly as many as there should have been. Absolutley no chance of developing any of the characters or showing/explaining any of the passion between Edward and Bella. These movies need and deserve a better screen play.
