I am shocked at the bad reviews. I read and loved the books, and thought the movie was fantastic! Was it as good as the books? Not even close, but it would be impossible to expect that, no movie ever is. Of course things were cheesy, so's the book. Of course some of the special effects sucked (they did in the first Harry Potter too). We're not talking a huge movie company or budget here. They will get increasingly better. Nit-picking over little changes is silly too. I think it's great that there were subtle differences, that made it more interesting! I already know what happens in the book, it doesn't have to be exactly the same! Plan on seeing it again.

The story is great the book is great so you know the story of the movie is great but there should have bin more chemistry between bella and edward (the actors not the characters)

I was really, really disappointed in the movie. OK, first of all, Kirsten and Robert can't act for their lives! Some of the other actors, such as Victoria, Carlisle, Emmett, and Esme, were actually pretty good. However, like I mentioned before, the two main actors were really disappointing. I think the plot of the movie wasn't very good either. Overall, I just think the movie made the awesome book of Stephanie Myer's look bad. That's all I have to say. And by the way, just because Robert is a so-called "hottie", doesn't mean he's an awesome actor. So don't get the two mixed up.

Ive been a big fan of the books since they've come out, and I wasnt excited to see the movie. But honestly, it surprised me, It was amazing and even, in my opinion better than the book itself. Im definitly going to go see it again.

I was very very DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!! They butchered my favourite book. Bad acting. Rob was trying but I think he still needs some acting classes but he is still HOT. I expected Kristen to do better but she was horrible. No chemistry at all. I didnt go to see a comedy. I hope New Moon is better. I hope it will be done by a new director. Stephanie Mayer said it was good...SHE LIED!!!! A total waste of my day. I should have waited for it on DVD. Im still a fan but the movie didnt do the book any justice.

Where do I begin with my scathing review of this movie: the acting, the filming or the script? Disappointment washed over me well into the first half of the movie. I loved the books, even the last one, as odd as it was, and was praying that Twilight the movie was going to be as close to the book as possible, as the cast and director promised it would be. Wrong. Some of the loose interpretations of the scenes in the book were so out of place it was shocking: hello making out in underwear scene? wth!?! I thought the acting lacked dimension. I thought the script was AWFUL, probably the worst part of it... I mean, when and how did you see Bella fall in love with Edward?! it happened so fast it w
