I read all 4 books, and i thought the movie was great!! Obviously the movie is never good as the book, but I think they did a great job with the movie. Also, some people had very high expectations, which is why they did not like the movie. I loved the books and the movie and hope the other movies are as great as this one =)

The movie was horrible! The acting was bad, but it seemed like every actor was bad. I believe this is the result of a bad director! The movie was true to the story but it could have been much much better even with a small budget.

I loved the feel of the film adaptation of Twilight. I loved that it was not an over-the-top commercial production. I love that the film added and altered scenes, it would have been boring to have watched a literal translation of the book. As far as critics of the special effects and cheezy moments, did you not read the book? I loved the books, but let's face it, we're not talking the quality of Tanya Huff when it comes to vampire stories. Good think too, as this is something my daughter is reading and watching. I am over the moon in anticipation of New Moon on film. I hope that with the success of the first film, the second doesn't become overly commercialized. I think the critics need to b

I think that the whole movie was horrable compared to the book and as for the cast, I didn't think they were all that talented. I'm sorry to everyone who does, but to me, they could have done a lot better, with the casting and the scenes.

Many people think "Oh the book is always better than the movie". But here, the movie is JUST AS GOOD as the book. The cast is excellent and you'd believe that they are their characters in real life, because they make it look so effortless!

You can't expect a movie to be as good as the book, they can 't put 500+ pages in 2 hours. The acting was very poor though. Rob is not a great actor, it's true. The make up was very poor, nothing was right, I was not disappointed by how they changed the story (a little bit) that was expected, but I thought the acting would be good and it was not. Like when Edward sees Bella in the bio lab for the first time, wth was that performance from rob????? he looked like he was gonna throw up!!! I'm really disapointed by Rob's acting. I'd rather see an "ok looking" good actor than a cute vampire who doesn't even know how to stare properly at Bella :( And Carlisle was too freaking white!! wth?? the m
