  One of the worst movies I have ever seen. Incredibly boring and dreary despite the high profile cast. The kids are cute but this is definitely one to leave off the resume. I have not read the books but if the movie was any indication of the plot (or lack there of) I won`t bother reading them either. I really regret spending the cash to see this looser.

  I have read all the books and found the film to be more than a little unfocused. i accept that this an unavoidable part of tranferring literature to the big screen, especially given they were condensing 3 books, but this is one of the most textbook examples i have ever seen. very "lemony snicket goes to hollywood" (Jude Law? come on...)

  I liked the movie but it wasnt that similar to the books and thats the only problem with it. I want to be an actor when i grow up and i wish i could have been in it and meat jim carry. it was a great movie but like i said the order and the dedication to the books and i thought it was too funny i mean you know i thought it was funny in a great movie way but to funny for count olaf but jim carry did a great job so did the other actors im not blamin them i loved the movie

  its an awsome film and of cousre its not going to have the same ending movies a different than book and of course its not going to copy the book how it was i mean if the movie was just like the book that wood just be boring then but it had emily browning in it so it was whicked

  emily browning was the best part in the film and all so she played vilet very well and i hope to see emily in more films such great talent and hotness and the film was whicked and funny in some bits lemony snickets is a awsome film

  It seems that the people who have read the books like this movie way more! I suggest reading the books before going to see the movie. If you haven`t you might think that it just cont. the same pattern but you have to know the whole concept behind it first to understand why.
