  ok this is for all those ppl who complain about the movie not being funny. It is called a series of UNFORTUNATE events. it is supposed to be dessparring. if youve read the books yes, they are funny when the unfortunate things happen but its to be dessparring.

  ive awaited this movie for so long and it was well worth it. it was absoloutely amazing. they switched it around a bit from the books but it all fit together perfectly. i would see it again without a doubt. the kids are amazing and i love how it started.

  I really thought this movie was awesome it was the best movie like ever made.Kluas(Liam aiken) was georgious and he was my second favorite character compared to violet(Emily Browning.If you r going throught a hard time in youre life (like me) u can sortof share the emotions the characters are feeling and understand their pain but of course no 1 know how hard it is a family member and I cried when they where reading the note left by the parent like OMG it is soo sad I loved the plot of the movie and really enjoyed how u werent forsed to stay and watch the movie Lemony Snicket acctually invited you to leave the theatre at anytime and told us to

  This movie was great! And the people who don`t like this movie, I think they just weren`t watching it. Jim, and the babie were soooooo funny! I can`t wait to see the other movies when they come out! (and if!)

  i think that the movie was great. i loved the actors who played the children and i think that Jim Carrey was funny (candaian YAh). They only part i didn`t like was the begining becasue i thought i was in the wrong theater and that they had the wedding at the end when it was in the first book. all in all great.

  well.. it was overall a pretty good movie. i am an avid reader of the books, and they pretty much stuck to the book... some parts were different.. i think maybe they could have found a different count olaf.. jim carrey made him look too nice!:P lol... we canuks are nice ppl... newayz go see it!

  This movie was unfortunately very entertaining. The entire Jude Law/Lemony Snicket aspect was a very good element to add because it shows what really goes on in the mind of that twisted dark author. This movie exercised alot from its preceding book series, but added a few new elements as well. Overall, I highly recommend this movie to those who have read the books, want to read them or are just in the mood for an unfortunate good time.
