    We Bury the Dead

Tuesday, January 6, 2026 10:23:57 PM | (Age Not Specified)

i went in expecting a zombie movie. That it was not. What an absolute steaming turd of a film with a vomit chaser. The best zombie scenes were in the trailer. I want the 90 minutes of my life back. How dare you turn the beloved zombie genre into some arthouse drama about grieving and marriage struggles. I hope the baby at the end of the movie turns feral and starts a zombie outbreak. save yourself the money and wait until it goes to netlix or prime.

This movie would've been better if it wasn't in 3D! The fact that we had to wear a 3D glasses, and for children was the big turn off!!

    Wicked: For Good

Tuesday, January 6, 2026 10:54:49 AM | (Age Not Specified)

Truth be told, did like the first film way better for musical and entertainment, on the lighter side. Part 2 was good more drama and some musical with surprises.

    We Bury the Dead

Out of nothing else on to see - I just paid the money to go see this one. I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a horror movie although there are some disturbing scenes. It's deep and dark and I enjoyed every minute of it. Great acting and a good ending. Go see it if you are on the edge.

    Spiritwalker

Monday, January 5, 2026 9:04:20 PM | (Age Not Specified)

68/100 A man, whose spirit is jumping around from one person to another every 12 hours, is trying to find out who he is, what's going on and how to save his girlfriend. Likable characters, good pacing and great action highlight this incredibly intriguing story that leaves one wondering what's going to happen next. It is a bit confusing at times, they did sort of lose me on a couple points, but once the reveal is made, things gelled together quite well and the John Wickish style climax was a real treat. Good exciting fun well worth a bag a popcorn and a hot dog. -- DrNostromo.com

    The Reaping

Monday, January 5, 2026 8:45:51 PM | (Age Not Specified)

59/100 A fallen ordain minister, who now debunks miracles, goes to a small, secluded hamlet in Louisiana called Haven where the river appears to have turned to blood. This was a pretty entertaining "science vs religion" story centering around a creepy little girl. Is she an angel? the devil? or something else? The plagues were effectively presented as well as how you'd expect people in that culture to react. Not particularly scary but well worth a watch with an ending that, although not great, did the job just fine. -- DrNostromo
