it started so well, but that was the extent of the story. the action scenes were awesome, except for the constant high fiving and back patting and endorsement of the marines. that became abit tiresome...all in all it entertaining i was never bored. i just felt the story started strong and went no where. there were so many possibilities that this story good have been really good.

Definitely a fun popcorn movie ... so leave your stress(ors) at home, put your feet up ... and enjoy the show.

I went to this movie with high expectations and left feeling like I wasted two hours of my life. This movie is a little more than a weak hybrid of Blackhawk Down and Independence day; and was filmed by an epileptic on a pogo stick (seriously). The shaky cam was used so excessively I felt nauseous and had a hard time seeing what was happening and by the end didn't care what was happening. If you wait for the DVD to hit the $5 bin you might get your moneys worth.

This movie was noisy, noisy, noisy and could have had the potential of being a great movie - good cast - all wasted!!!

This movie was horrible. The acting was amateur at best and the action scenes were less than exciting to say the least. Honestly, I thought this was going to be a half decent "guy" flick and was VERY disappointed. Worst movie I have seen in the last 12 months.

I read several extremely negative reviews, but saw it today anyway. I enjoyed it, though some of the scenes intended to be emotional were a collection of cliches. Err... okay... ALL of those scenes. 3 stars out of five for the fun factor, if you enjoy action or sci fi. Much less if you don't -- but then why would you be seeing this?

Worst movie of the year.It felt like being trapped in a CNN war report for two hours. People in the theater were laughing at some scenes.

This is an epic movie, beautiful special effects and stunts. Edge of your seat the whole time. Will definitely buy the blu-ray when it comes out.
