  The hype understated how good it was, for my money...One of the all-time great super-hero movies, for sure, and destined to be one of the top hundred great movies of this century, IMO.

  That`s the way the first movie of a comic strip is like. Showing the audience or people how Spiderman came to be Spiderman and also The Goblin.... I could rate this movie at a close 5 star but in actual scense I will rate it a 4..The story line was good and I don`t agree with Siskel.....not too violent as a matter of fact I would have taken my child to see it (if I had one)............Besides it is to each his own on how to rate the movie but in my opinion it was just as good as Batman......

  I think it was really good! everything I thought it would be! it`s for all ages because my mom liked it and my little brother as well! so anyone can see it!!! also, the acting was really good, even though everyone said it would be bad because of the young actors!!! But the whole movie was AMAZING!!!

  I must say that the wet scene with Mary Jane in the alley, damn, well it is bringing me back to see it over and over. Them some fine looking female parts.

  It was awesome. Much better than I expected. I`ve been a Spider-man fan for 40 years.

  That movie was the best thing i ever saw come out of a comic book since...well since ever (plus is still the best movie)

  It was fun to watch knowing it was rated PG. I would have liked to see the unedited version of the movie with the helicopers,etc.

  Spider-Man is one of the best movies that i have seen. One of my favourites of the year.
