I decided to watch this with an open mind. I am NOT a fan of Trump by any means and never have been even prior to becoming President. BUT, this was a really good movie! I believe Strong and Stan were nominated for big awards like the Oscars and it was absolutely deserving. If this is even close to truth, then you can see his progression over the years to who he is today. Those 3 rules are clearly paramount to him. I read about this other person who knew Roy Cohn and he said it's sad to say, but Strong deserved an Oscar for his portrayal. That is a hard endorsement to make if you knew the person and saw the movie and you not only empathized with Cohn, but you sort of understood his life as well. He was certainly a mentor to Trump and now you can absolutely say the student became the master! Whether you are left leaning or right leaning or to either extreme side, keep an open mind. I think it was a rather objective look at his life and how he had to get ahead and try to surpass his successful father.

I found it riveting from start to finish. If you love trump or hate him, this is a must watch. As a Canadian, I was able to watch it without leaning one way or the other. I loved the storytelling and it was shot brilliantly

This is a must-see film regardless of how you feel about Donald Trump. Jeremy Strong is a convincing Roy Cohen, although Mr. Cohen was more evil than the movie portrays. Sebastian Stan is a convincing Donald Trump. I didn't learn anything new about Donald Trump, but it has affected what I think of him. He is a very privileged and rich man who doesn't think the rules apply to him. You will not regret seeing this very entertaining film

The performances were stellar and the film does a great job depicting the New York city of the 70's. The one star people in this thread can't handle the truth about this immoral man and his mentor.

All the Dems in the theater were eating it up. Such bias in the film. If Harris becomes president, we are literally cooked. Probably the dumbest person who has ever run for the job. She needs to go back to school. She is unable to be understood by most people who have a clue. I never know what she is saying.

Incredible depiction of the weak judicial system operated by few rotten people. Trump was/is the real apprentice of Roy Cohn. He learned 3 rules of engagement in business well, plus added his own concussions.
It is not surprising now that every time Trump opens his mouth, another lie flies out.
