I thought the story line was far fetched and it was a sad story. People came out of this movie not laughing, not happy, the movie was very sad. I heard since it even has Brad thinking about dying and when. Very depressing not a movie I would see again as some are worth seeing twice. Not enough of them together just all about him aging and growing younger. pitful really and who wants to see an old home where someone is always dying and they are always having a funeral.

This film was excellent. It was like "The Notebook" and "Forest Gump" with a different twist. Although the physical transfermation of lead character from an old newborn in the beginning to a young new born at the end was a little far fetched...this film really made you think alot about how precious life is and how uncertain the nature of events in ones life can be. Like I said earlier...it was an excellent film.

I have always listened to quotes about starting life older and growing young, this is what drew me to this picture. I found the story intreging but very sad. It's well done although I was disappointed at the makeup progression of Benjamin. At time it was great at other times it was poorly done in my opinion - it appears to have been only half done, eg. leg and and arms in the tub scenes. The story however was compelling and from my prospective did achieve it's goal. Unless anyone on earth was living their lives in reverse it would be a sad unfulfilling life, you can't finish anything you start, love and marrage, family, career, etc. Who would be there for you in the end? If we were all di

I simply ADORED this movie. I would NOT see it again in a theatre (the length WAS long but warranted and not an issue REALLY), however would recommend it for home viewing so you can take breaks. Just a beautiful spectacle. Many have written of a lack of chemistry between Blanchet and Pitt -> I thought that was PERFECT as it was SUPPOSED to be that strained reserved that was delivered. HIGHLY recommended!

The only things that saved this movie were the period settings and the makeup department. The plot is weak and I am amazed at how disconnected most of the characters were from any perceived "story line". Best Movie? Pshah!

Excellent by all standards. Earlier someone said, "only for the mature", I AGREE, plus those with an open mind would love this movie, not for little minds.
