I was dragged to this Movie by my Wife,and I have to admit I enjoyed very much,a very different type of Movie from what I would normally like.The acting by everyone in the film was very good,but the standout,award worthy performance,was by Taraji P.Henson as Queenie.This woman deserves to be a Big Star,she stole every scene she was in,an amazing Talent.

It still amzes me that Brad Pitt can just stand, not say a word, look into space and people think he's acting. I'm sorry but he's nothing more than a pretty face and body pretending to be something he's not...an actor.
The dancing was fabulous, Cate Blanchett delivered a very plausible performance; I'd loved to have those legs.
Julia Ormand's chararcter could've been played by any actress as it was pretty nondescript; but hey she got paid big bucks and I didn't so who's the winner here? As I said, the computer was great!

Did anyone who like the movie actually watch it? This movie is like the result of "Titanic" and "Forrest Gump" mating. I did not even watch it to the end. It was not original and highly predictable. There was no real depth to the movie or the characters. It is unnecessarily long and slow, the story could have skipped some parts and the movie may then have been at least worth my 10 bucks. Whew!

Sort of a hybrid between 'Big Fish' and 'The Notebook': you know how the movie is going to end but you still play along with the quirky characters. Storyline was interesting. Brad Pitt is beautiful. A bit long but I'll probably go see it again.
