  A "Must See Movie" Excellent casting, superb direction. The plot and story kept you "in it" the entire time. Lots of great humour, excellent character development, screenplay was adapted from the book with perfection. I truly hope the "Award Gods" shine on this fantastic movie.

  The movie was a nice story with some very good performances. I enjoyed the message the film delivers and the food in the film makes me want to go out and eat right away, mmmmmm

  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and I will be surprised if this movie does not get nominated for an award. There was the right combination of humour, drama, and emotion to make this movie appeal to anyone who likes a happy, feel good, kind of movie.

  When you have Steven Spielberg directing, you know you will have some superb cinematography. And, of course Oprah always loves a good story and this movie was intelligently written. This movie is refreshingly funny and poignant. Helen Mirren as a prim French woman is ok in her role but when she duels Papa, played by Om Puri, he absolutely steals the show with his one line zingers. Highly recommend seeing this movie

  I thought this was a very beautiful movie, great acting, beautifully scripted, and had it's funny moments. Quite enjoyable!
