  The first time I ever wanted to write the production company and ask for my money back. A painfully slow and unrealistic movie with meaningless content like the meteor falling to earth. Maybe the director thought it was artistic symbolism but it had was irrelevant. My wife is a fan of DiCaprio and even she hated it. The only positive was that DiCaprio didn't try shouting in rage which simply sounds like a little girl screaming. Save your money and read a good book instead.

  The movie was way too long. I did like that the movie had some true facts in it. Not a whole lot of acting going on, mostly grunting.

  Pretty good movie, excellent acting and very realistic scenes. From a female perspective I did not think it was overly gory/violent as many reviews stated women may find it to be nor do I think it is not a movie women would like. I didn't think it was the best movie I've ever seen but pretty good.

  Amazing what a person can endure when they have a vendetta mission. Some parts a little hard to believe anyone could survive but then - this is the "movies". Great show, but gruesome, not for the faint of heart. Some parts a little slow but you have to put yourself in Leo's shoes, as he was healing from severe wounds and reminiscing about his past, while making his way back to get revenge.

  What an awesome movie. I am surprised by any negative reviews on this movie. Great acting, great story and beautiful scenery.

  A great gritty movie that makes the protagonist ACT for once! Very moving, relentless action gave me a real idea of what trappers went through in the discovery of the West! Recommend it highlt!
