  A very good movie a dark subject matter but very informative makes me sick that men of God we're getting away with something like that

  This movie has absolutely nothing to do with Roman Catholicism. Nowhere in The Bible is such sinful behaviour encouraged. The film deals with the abuse of power by wicked men who use their positions of trust against innocent children. The film is "very there" - not great - too much talking and very little action. As has already been mentioned, there are others that treat this and similar issues in a much better way.

  I liked that facts about pedophilia were voiced by the actors. For example, pedophiles groom their prey over time, and that most pedophiles are trusted by their victims. Eleanor Cowan, Montreal author of 'A History of a Pedophile's Wife."

  Excellent movie?? Are you serious?? Six people sitting around a table reading and discussing files?? That is hardly Oscar worthy - and the other four people in the theatre would agree with me! This film has very little action - other than continuous scenes in meetings - and virtually no character development. Other films have treated this very sensitive subject much more effectively.

  Except for Tucci, the acting is overrated as hell. However, the film is gripping enough to recommend.

  Acting was good, but the main point is that it is portraying the reality of those so called holly people.. wish they do another movie where it expose the Muslim heads of their religion and how they use young boys to do what they want with them let the past be exposed so that less of this awful harm be done to innocent kids

  Very revealing movie ! It is no wonder that young people ,who have not been thoroughly brain washed, are leaving the Catholic church in droves. Older Catholics will still turn a blind eye and pretend that this stuff didn't exist.

  The cast was captivating and communicated the profound impact the deceit by the Catholic church had on the Boston community and the world. The shear length of time this practice continued was baffling. I learned a lot about power and the need for checks and balances within faith communities because they are big business as well.

  An important story that must be told in hopes that it impacts change. Restores your faith in responsible journalism. A very well acted film with a terrific cast.
