Some nostalgia points for sure, and a great idea, but really, just meh. A little disappointing in the humor arena. No major LOL moments, individually or in the whole theater, just nostalgia type comments (which is worth something).

The Mutiny 2026
Ok I will always give full disclosure of my opinion biases. I find Statham to be the same character in every movie. I find it hilarious as he is an icon but you have to suspend reality to believe that a bald 5’6” white 50 year old dude is essentially as superhero without tight and a mask.
The Mutiny is essentially The Transporter (23 or however movies statham has made).
It’s the same movie he has made 23 times previously but it’s funny (sometimes unintentionally) and has decent fight scenes (albeit it’s always the bald 60 year old 5’6 dude taking out 5-10 villains).
Plot is the usual: Baldo is a loyal ex UK cop who bodyguards a billionaire who gets murdered on his watch. Baldo seeks revenge as a loyal guy and embarks on a ship to discover who murdered his ex boss.
Side character /single mom Third mate on ship is a blonde woman who works to get home to her daughter and thus has concurrent goals w Baldo to stop the human trafficking on the ship.
That’s the plot. The action is somewhat predictable but choreographed well as I said, this is the formula of Jason Stahams career. The jokes are ok.
6 stars out of 10. Not outstanding but it’s the Transporter (23 lol). I checked and the first transporter was released 2002. lol.
