    Heartland (2007- )

CBC show is terrible (of course) but there is ironic enjoyment to be had here. The Canadian Wilford Brimley guy is funny. He's not meant to be funny but he's funny all the same with his huge moustache (he looks like he was hit in the face with a giant alien moustache planet) and the way he's always talking about his hurt feelings and the way he fall off the horses. Hilarious! The guy from Kung Fu The Next Generation always seems to be in a bad mood. That one girl who plays the whiny spoiled brat should really pop that gargantuan zit on her nose. It just might correct her balance so she's not falling off the horses so much (except watching her fall off horses is the only enjoyable part of her character). Oh, and horses are supposed to be beasts of burden but the characters all act like slaves to their horse masters (!) What the hell is with this show, man?

    Thunderbolts*

This is a movie about depression, anxiety, mental illness and addiction with a superhero movie around it. Perfectly cast and written. And it’s worth seeing just for David Harbours brilliant and hysterical performance as Red Gaurdian. Stay until the very end!

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning

Tuesday, May 27, 2025 11:28:09 AM | (Age Not Specified)

After two hours of viewing a world far removed from the realm of possibility, and realizing that my feeling of suspense had been suspended for far too long, I just didn't care anymore, and left. This is one tedious movie and not nearly as engaging as Its predecessor.

The best action thriller since David Giancola's TIME CHASERS!

    Bonjour Tristesse

Although the scenery was breathtaking, this film was very pretentious. I don't think people talk like the characters in this film. Chloe Sevigny is one of my favourite actresses but here she is reduced to being the mysterious other woman... a nice try but a miss.

Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning

Tuesday, May 27, 2025 7:47:45 AM | (Age Not Specified)

It´s too ambitious for it´s own good. The first part has too many flashbacks and exposition dumps which should have been mostly cut out. On the other hand, the whole sequence in the half-flooded submarine is maybe the best not just from the movie but from the whole MI franchise. It´s so claustrophobic and deep-water-phobic it basically becomes a horror movie in this part. The dog fight with small planes is fun. It´s a cool movie over all but it could have been trimmed to be even better.

    Lilo & Stitch

It was okay. As far as live actions that were animated, Pete's Dragon is still the best one.
