    A Haunting in Venice

I don't know why they changed the title and went so far from the book it's based on. It sounds like a horror story from the title, but it's not. It's a weirdly written detective story, and Kenneth B's portrayal of Poirot is so far from how Agatha Christie wrote him. I hope he doesn't try to do any more of these.

    Billy Elliot

Are you kidding me? 20+ years later, this remains one of the most memorable coming-of-age movies. A sensitive kid growing up in a rough mid-1980ís mining community that is getting crushed by Maggie Thatcherís politics, defying all expectations what a boy is supposed to be like, feeling drawn to ballet and following his dream determined (but equally scared) - what more "conflict" can you ask for? A perfect reflection of the time, with the tough but constructive relationship between Billy and his teacher Mrs. Wilkinson, along with the evolution of his father and brother, a great story overall, combined with great acting!
