    The Apprentice

Incredible depiction of the weak judicial system operated by few rotten people. Trump was/is the real apprentice of Roy Cohn. He learned 3 rules of engagement in business well, plus added his own concussions. It is not surprising now that every time Trump opens his mouth, another lie flies out.

I came in with an open mind but as the film progressed, I could see the left leaning bias. I'm neither Republican nor Democrat but I saw what the left wanted to do with releasing this film right before the election. It was to sway the independents like me and others who are on the fence as to our voting preferences but we are smarter than that. We are not to vote for a person or party, but for which policy is better for our country. I've already made up my mind. Have you?

Interesting, but most people will hate it. If you like something that's bold, weird and daring, this is for you.

    Joker: Folie à Deux

I thought it was brilliant. Very well done and acted. Great story line. The "musical" aspect was not in any way hokey. And then... the end. Wtf? It was so confusing I had to go home and look up an explanation for what I knew I must have missed. What I learned kept this movie in the brilliant category but they really blew it. The message at the end was done so subtly that it seems almost everyone else missed it too. Hence, the bad reviews it is receiving. I can easily think how they could have made the ending more clear so everyone would understand it. Too late now though. What a shame. Do they not have screenings before they release big features like this one. How could they blow it so badly?

Great movie! Sad to see how troubled his youth was. He accepted this job so that he could help other troubled kids like him and he changed their lives around! True story! Courageous man! If you let them take a small thing away, next thing you know, they’ll keep chipping away and it’ll be bigger and bigger things. We’ve got to fight for our freedom.

    Am I Racist?

I tried to like this, I really did!!! I have had my share of negative interactions with so-called DEI specialists. 🙄 I want to be armed with better info to argue against these kinds of programs, or - at the very least - make sure that if I do have to go through a DEI mess, it would at least be with someone who was sincere about it. So, I went to this movie thinking I would learn something!!!! Oof was I wrong. I got a sarcastic and disingenous prank movie that gave me just about as much useful info as watching the Jackass movie (maybe aging myself with that reference 😅). If anything, this dude's crappy disguise and constant s**t-eating grin was just as cringey as the folks he's trying to expose. And yeah, there are some terrible folks in this movie. But to anyone with eyeballs, it's kinda clear that he's picking the worst of the worst, and editing to make it look even worse than that. It just felt like what the media does all the time - picking out the very worst examples and then claiming that's how everything is. I know Matt Walsh is a respected thinker, but my hopes for useful information were totally let down. I guess in the end the funniest part was me thinking I'd learn something 🤦???
