Was this a COMEDY portrayed as a Space Adventure? If so, a few laughs were all I give it and that little alien was so stupid. I about left one hour into this horribly animated, computerized movie.. I can't believe Ryan Gosling lowered himself to be in this. The only reason I gave it two stars was for the music which was the only thing good about this experience. What a waste of time and money.

Like this is genuinely a fantastic horror flick.
I understand if you didn’t like it but this is a smaller film that got picked up and I’m happy it made bank already.
Seethe all you want but this film made 10x its budget already.

Masterpiece, like actually.
It’s beautifully done, the writing, the directing and the visuals?, it’s eye candy
Really hoping Ryan Gosling gets nominated as this is his chance to actually get the award, the guys that good.
Also what’s with the reviews on here?, dude you gotta accept that people enjoyed this movie lol.
Like this is the highest rated film of the year so far.

The one star is that RYAN GOSLING is nice to look at. The story is ridiculous, boring and I fell asleep (3) times during the movie. I can't believe the long waited for HAIL MARY was the worst movie by far I've seen yet, Too computerized, no story line to follow and just blah blah blah

Excellent movie which seemingly changes genre several times. It starts of as a quasi documentary on the Rave community, then turns into a road movie before becoming something completely different in the third act. Great performances by the father/son duo and the (non professional) Rave family. True, several categories come into my mind where this movie should have been nominated for an Oscar…

From start to finish, this film is a masterpiece. The emotional depth combined with high-octane action makes it unforgettable. Definitely worth watching on the big screen.
