This film turned out to be quite different from what we expected! It's not a movie with a feel-good plot but instead a haunting portrayal of the horrors and human costs of the war in Aleppo, Syria, telling the personal stories of how that war impacted five individuals and their families, revealing the depths of man’s capacity for savagery and the inhumanity of man towards his fellow man. Be warned that it is deeply unsettling film. I found it hard to rate this film. For me it had a zero-entertainment value, but I would rate it a strong 5 for depicting what is too often is the brutal reality of our world.
