    Avatar: Fire and Ash

Friday, January 9, 2026 1:51:38 AM | (Age Not Specified)

I saw the 1st 2 Avatars at 1 sitting, a few days before this one. I enjoyed those 1st 2. We saw this 3rd one in 3D, which I didn't care for as the glasses hurt my nose and made the picture a little hazy, even after cleaning them. This movie seemed like a repeat of #2. I was falling asleep around hour 2, but forced myself to stay awake (expensive nap!), just in time for fight scenes that seemed almost exactly like the fight scenes in the 2nd movie I had just seen a few days prior. I hope there aren't more to come. I'd say stop while you're ahead!ijC

    The Plague

Not what i was expecting (i go in blind). I wish filmmakers would ask themselves one question before they begin, "Will people want to watch the story i am telling?" For this film, my answer woul have been a resounding, NO. Don't make a profit off of mental illness and rewarding bullies.

    Dhurandhar

Thursday, January 8, 2026 6:30:20 PM | (Age Not Specified)

Dhurandhar has officially set the bar for action in the 2020s, blending old-school grit with a massive 2026 budget. Here is why it’s being hailed as the decade’s best: The Powerhouse Trio: Watching Ranveer Singh’s manic energy go head-to-head with Akshaye Khanna’s calculated intensity is a masterclass in screen presence. Throw in Sanjay Dutt as the looming antagonist, and you have the most formidable cast in years. The "Karachi" Set Pieces: Director Aditya Dhar has moved beyond standard "hero shots" to deliver immersive, high-stakes tactical sequences. The 20-minute extraction scene in the second act is arguably the most technically proficient action sequence filmed this decade. A "Smart" Thriller: Unlike typical "popcorn" movies, the script doesn't insult the audience's intelligence. It’s an intricate web of espionage that feels grounded and dangerous rather than just loud. Runtime Confidence: While 3 hours and 34 minutes sounds daunting, the pacing is relentless. Every minute is used to build the pressure cooker atmosphere of Karachi’s underworld.

    The Bourne Supremacy

Thursday, January 8, 2026 3:47:54 PM | (Age Not Specified)

90/100 Framing Bourne for the assassination of two agents and killing his girlfriend was probably not the wisest things to do. This follow-up to "The Bourne Identity" is a near perfect film; the story is highly intelligent, complex and tightly woven with everything precisely placed, the performances and dialogue are perfect, the pacing is edge-of-your-seat tense and the action, although a bit shaky to watch at times, is adrenaline inducing mayhem. No Other Choice

Thursday, January 8, 2026 11:33:54 AM | (Age Not Specified)

This film combines adventure, comedy, crime and the state of the employment sector since the advent of A.I. The plot gets a bit far-fetched but the final scene makes the point of the movie clear and is quite satisfying.

    Avatar: Fire and Ash

We watched this as regular, not 3D or at least there were no glasses. This movie is amazing! Visuals were out of this world, the storyline was great, very intense battle scenes. A few times the music was a little loud, but it was great. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars was because there were no closed captions and sometimes it was not clear what they said. I'm not sure if movies in theaters have closed captions or not. It's been over 8 years since I've been to a theater. I'm not sure it's suitable for young kids, maybe 12 and up.

    Song Sung Blue

It was like being stuck in a bad dream in the 1970s with wood paneling walls closing in on you. Depressing. We couldn’t wait for it to be over.
