Cuckoo is an example of an oddball concept played out without tripping over itself. Recent "elevated" horror tries too hard to be stylish at the expense of the story, often leaving it behind to showcase unmotivated weirdness leaving character and plot behind. This movie is odd, but it tells a story. It may be a simple one and a bit silly at times but it was unnerving and fun and I cared about what happened to the characters.

Exciting, entertaining, creepy, psychological thriller. I didn't care for the ending. Should have been more final with his history. The mind of a monster is really unfathomable. Very good and creepy.

We now have 4 generations that watch this classic movie together every single year. There's something in it for everyone. Heart-warming, funny, great story line, terrific music and dance from the talent that put Hollywood on the map. We all own this movie but we still always have a special gathering to watch it together for Christmas. They don't make movies like this anymore - share it with your family!
