    A House of Dynamite (Netflix)

Wednesday, October 29, 2025 11:43:17 AM | (Age Not Specified)

This took me all night to think about. It was pretty unique in it's structure and what I can only assume is realistic chain of possible events. At first, I didn't understand what was happening as they went from one person to another and there was overlapping dialogue and then I clued in that it's repeating the same time frame from different view points. The amount of people involved in trying to analyze the threat and to determine if it's real and if the info should go up the chain of command and how to immediately stop the threat is literally fraction of seconds. Everyone basically said, we trained for this. That is one thing I noticed, is every one said we practiced this or had training for this, but when it actually happens..it's no longer a drill and are steps skipped or missed with literally only minutes to spare? Obviously with the clock ticking and the President getting info from everyone left and right, there is a decision to make and one that is the worlds deadliest choice. The ending was NOT what I expected at all and that was part of my dilemma last night when thinking of a review. Now I get it. There is no right choice. Every nation with nuclear capabilities is a house of dynamite and every nation also plays a part in the decision making process and what happens with the push of a button. There is no right answer and come to your own conclusion with the data you, the viewer was provided...an can you live with that choice?????

    Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Wednesday, October 29, 2025 10:28:57 AM | (Age Not Specified)

The movie was long and at times very boring. The portrayal of Springsteen was very one dimensional. He was portrayed as a brooding depressed man who needed professional help but there was very little that revealed the joys and highs of his career and life. I was very disappointed by this movie and I don’t believe that this was an accurate portrayal of the man and the huge impact that Bruce Springsteen has had on music and his loyal fans.

    Regretting You

Mildly interesting story line that cannot be new. Not much depth. Some decent healing and forgiveness, and good-feelies. I like Gramps. Meh overall. 3.5

    Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 5:29:28 PM | (Age Not Specified)

If you have been to his concerts, know his generous and gentle personality, you will love to see this part of his early life. Growing up in NJ, you know and love him! Scenes of the Boardwalk in Asbury Park, Ocean Grove, the beach, the ocean. Acting is amazing, Jeremy's voice mimics Bruce perfectly (Even Bruce says it!)

    Kill Me Again

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 2:13:52 PM | (Age Not Specified)

My wife and I watched this on the weekend. I didn't want to post a review until I had time to think about it. Clearly it was low budget. It tried to make the most out of it's story and budget available. It felt like Groundhog Day (repeating itself and changing the routine each time), but the humour was barely there and it felt like Source Code with crimes and the twist at the end. I think with better actors and more sets/budget, it could have been something decent. Otherwise very forgettable. But a good try.

    Anniversary

Tuesday, October 28, 2025 8:16:53 AM | (Age Not Specified)

This movie is very intense and timely. With superb performances by the likes of Diane Lane and Dylan O'Brien it is very engrossing and very effective too. Recommended!
