We LOVED this movie. Jackman and Russell have a real connection. Some holes left unexplained but totally entertaining and enjoyable. Love the story and would watch again.

    Come True

Thursday, January 1, 2026 8:51:53 PM | (Age Not Specified)

60/100 A nerdy and somewhat outcast girl signs up for a sleep experiment and things get strange. Very cosmic in nature, the film tinkers around with the sleep paralysis / shadow people mythology in a very different way than previously explored. The subject matter kept me thoroughly engaged despite it being incredibly slow and easily 30 mins too long ...you're going to need to be patient. It never really lets you know what's going on but provides some macabre, creepy imagery and a pretty profound twist at the end that made me smile. Your reaction may differ. -- DrNostromo.com

May the Devil Take You (Sebelum Iblis Menjemput)

Thursday, January 1, 2026 7:44:24 PM | (Age Not Specified)

80/100 For a summary, just think "Evil Dead", Indonesian style. That's all you need to now. This highly effective fright fest, loaded with extreme, high-octane nightmare fuel, drags one along at a break neck pace that leaves one shaking and exhausted. In fact, that's my only real criticism of the film is that it goes on for far too long ...I was diggin' it but I was getting to a point where I was wondering if it was ever going to end and it was starting to lose its impact. Regardless, incredibly well written with fully believable characters, complex relationships and genuine, unbridled chaos! -- DrNostromo.com

    Happy Death Day

Thursday, January 1, 2026 7:20:01 PM | (Age Not Specified)

74/100 A sorority sister must relive the day of her death over and over again until she can figure out who's killing her and stop it from happening. I don't believe that this film would have been very successful if it wasn't for the super performance of Jessica Rothe as the victim in this black comedic tragedy. They present her as someone you should hate but you can't because she's just so damn likable. No excessive scares, violence, or gore, this film was just plain fun from start to finish. Great entertainment! -- DrNostromo.com

    The Lure

Thursday, January 1, 2026 7:06:38 PM | (Age Not Specified)

8/100 An incredibly bad, Polish horror?, comedy??, musical, about 2 mermaids who sing and dance at a nightclub. We have naked girls with no genitals. We have mermaids eating people. Tail amputation? Mermaid vaginas? Sea foam, what? Sea foam!! ...all done to some absolutely terrible music and dance. Since it got good ratings, I'm assuming this is a cultural thing but as for me?.. I would rather slit my wrists before sitting through this again. Geez, this was awful! -- DrNostromo.com
