  Top notch acting but way to political and offensive . Not that im surprised these days. Spielberg should focus on what he does best as in close encounters and ET. This was not close to being as good as those. I suppose it is hard to make a sci fi movie compared to those however his could have been great if he would have left his political view at home. Also please do not bring religion into it as this movie does. I do appreciate that they show both sides of it however when one of the cast kneels down in front of the main female lead and signs the crucifix on her chest that was to much for me, and im sure it will upset a lot of people, completely unnecessary and offensive to all Christians.. When will Hollywood understand that by foing so you offennd 100"s of millions peopl. I give thus movie 3 stars for the acting and visuals. For the story I give it 1 star.

  A good picture of the volatile personalities involved in running a war and the need for men and women of integrity to make the best decision (despite the pressure to conform)for the freedom of democracy at that moment in history. Acting was superb. Dialogue always gave an insight into the character of the individual.

  Great movie! I don’t understand the bad reviews.. if it doesn’t have violence or sex people…don’t like it. Some people don’t know how to appreciate a good story.

  Flawless performance, awesome photography,, kept me engaged the whole time. Great choices for main and supporting actors.watching it was such a good experience since basically all movies made these days are just so pathetic, I was pleasantly surprised with Michael. Stirred a lot of emotions, nostalgia, tenderness, love, sadness, anger, joy,...I felt as if I was in a concert,, watched it 3 times and can't wait to buy it on DVD went it gets released!
