    Marty Supreme

I liked the movie even if there wasn't a single likeable character in the film. The pace is frenetic. The first song(Forever Young) and the last song(a Tears for Fears tune) came out at least 30 years after the time that the movie was set in. But the actors were fine. Some terrific. A long movie, but it goes by fairly quickly. Worth seeing. Better than most of the crap coming out of Hollywood these days.

    We Bury the Dead

i went in expecting a zombie movie. That it was not. What an absolute steaming turd of a film with a vomit chaser. The best zombie scenes were in the trailer. I want the 90 minutes of my life back. How dare you turn the beloved zombie genre into some arthouse drama about grieving and marriage struggles. I hope the baby at the end of the movie turns feral and starts a zombie outbreak. save yourself the money and wait until it goes to netlix or prime.

    Avatar: Fire and Ash

This movie would've been better if it wasn't in 3D! The fact that we had to wear a 3D glasses, and for children was the big turn off!!

    Wicked: For Good

Truth be told, did like the first film way better for musical and entertainment, on the lighter side. Part 2 was good more drama and some musical with surprises.

    We Bury the Dead

Out of nothing else on to see - I just paid the money to go see this one. I was pleasantly surprised. It's not a horror movie although there are some disturbing scenes. It's deep and dark and I enjoyed every minute of it. Great acting and a good ending. Go see it if you are on the edge.

    David

Tuesday, January 6, 2026 4:13:06 AM | (Age Not Specified)

My son loves David and history, so we've been diving deep into David in the Bible. This movie follows David on his way from being anointed as the future king to becoming king. It doesn't focus on his martial issues at all. The movie followed some parts very closely, but then some moments in time were shortened like king Saul chasing David over and over again through the mountains. The final fight was definitely an adaptation of the real fight. Historically David didn't even know the Philistines were going after the Israelites while he was chasing after his captive family but for the movie it has him make his choice of helping his king and best friend or going to save his family and his armies families. They made this with kids in mind, so I'm thankful they did adapt the story to make it shorter while keeping with the historical facts. It is a musical (in case you don't like that kind of thing) but how could it not be? David wrote half of the Psalms and was known for being a musician. They put in small things that you may not catch like Goliath having six fingers which is a trait some of the giants had, including Goliaths brother. I wish I had studied more on the amelakites before watching it the first time to appreciate how the amelakites dressed in animal hides and bones. They looked scary, certainly for kids, but they don't do anything to the captives which is true to the historical account of that battle. The movie gives them the presence of fear without doing an actual bad guy stuff other than kidnapping the families armies. David is all about Faith over fear, in his psalms you see he struggles with things in his life like being hunted by his king and father in law, Saul, while still trusting and putting his hope in God. This movie does the same thing. It gave my son something to aid his Faith while we continue to study Biblical history. I truly hope they create another film like this or small shows like young David and that this movie be
