    Fight or Flight

It was just done right and the music was right. They happen to make an action movie fun and different enough to make it a really good film. If you like Bullet Train with Pitt or Hotel Artemus with Batista, this is a good one for sure. 👍

    The Amateur

Tuesday, May 13, 2025 8:07:01 PM | (Age Not Specified)

Unassuming desk jockey gets messed over by terrorists and his own employers......and then figures out how to take 'em out without actually having to physically confront them ala knuckle draggin' John Wick and his ilk.....if you're a (ex)government or corporate employee you'll love Rami Malik in this movie. Entertaining if you remember that NOT ALL vigilante/revenge fueled heroes have to be typical meatheads.

    Until Dawn

It is what it is without being apologetic. It's a B-budget-type horror movie full of schlock and gore, but then again, what would you expect from the promo poster and the trailer? Worth a buck or two on Tuesday, plus a fun cameo from Peter Storemare ("Grimsrud" from the old Cohen bros movie "Fargo) as the warped shrink orchestrating the whole bloody mess!

    Sinners

Wow.....some people really need to lighten up.....it's a movie, not always a social or political commentary. Interesting layering of early 20th century southern U.S. black culture, speak-easy gangsterism (ala Chi-town/Al Capone references.....) and damn good bloody vampire mayhem. Pretty gripping and gut wrenching in parts, but then if you wanted Gone with the Wind, you should check the listings more carefully next time.

    Fight or Flight

Pretty ridiculous in parts......but damn it was a fun movie to watch! The Elvis Costello "Pump it Up" soundtrack blurb in the chainsaw seen is just hilarious.....and who includes toad venom as a potential remedy for a gunshot wound? If you want to laugh AND cringe at the same time, this movie is for you! Enjoy!

Long, boring & bad acting. Don’t waste your money. This is a made for tv movie.
